Temperament:
Eurasiers are calm, even-tempered dogs. They are watchful and alert, yet reserved towards strangers without being timid or aggressive. Eurasiers form a strong link to their families and are fond of children. For the full development of these qualities, the Eurasier needs constant close contact with its family, combined with understanding, yet consistent, training. The Eurasier is a combination of the best qualities of the Chow Chow, the Wolfspitz, and the Samoyed, resulting in a dignified, intelligent breed.
Grooming:
The Eurasier has an elaborate coat that owners will need to consistently groom. A firm brush or comb should be used, and these dogs should only be given baths when they need it.
Training:
They are extremely sensitive to harsh words or discipline and respond best to soft reprimand. Positive reinforcement training methods therefore work best for Eurasier.
Exercise:
The Eurasier enjoys exercise, and owners will want to give it to them. They have large amounts of agility, and should be allowed to run and play in a wide open area that is secure. They are good dogs for those who live in apartments, and while they are energetic outside, they will be relaxed when they are indoors.

around 10-12 years

Germany
