15 – 17 lbs (6.8 - 7.7kg)
Height:
14.6 inches (37cm)
Color:
black and tan, blue and tan, red-gray, red, wheat, liver, blue, or black.
Temperament:
The dogs are friendly, bold, and confident. Shyness is very atypical, as is aggressiveness. Intelligent and independent minded, especially when going after prey, they are quick to learn and easy to train!!!
Grooming:
The coat needs to be plucked three times a year. Excessive hair around the pads of the feet must be trimmed and the ears must be kept clean.
Training:
Because the Lakeland Terrier can be willful, training, especially housebreaking, can be difficult. This dog is intelligent and will learn quickly, but training should be firm and challenging.

Lakeland Terriers are active go-getters. They must have regular opportunities to vent their energy and to use their busy minds to do interesting things.
Life Expectancy:
around 12-14 years
Litter Size:
average 4-5 puppies

England
